Amber Lakes is a 450 acre nature Reserve and a real hidden gem for anyone planining a wedding here. With 120 acres of lakes set in the private nature reserve it is a stunning vista for any wedding day.
The Scandinavian Lodge overlooks the lakes giving guests panaramic views and with floor-to-ceiling windows, the light pours in through the windows making stunning wedding photographs.
Amber Lakes offers wedding couples ample flexibility with lawns amd lakes, providing space for Tipi’s and lake trips, garden games and sparklers.
For this Amber Lakes wedding photographer the venue offers ample spots to capture beautiful candid and couple portraits. With a sprawling terrace and Amber Pier the backdrops and views are stunning. Especially nice is the sun setting over the lake, making beautiful wedding portraits for you to cherish.

A luxury and exclusive wedding venue – Amber Lakes
Weddings at Amber Lakes offer a world of luxury and exclusivity in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. This beautiful venue hosts a range of private events with an exceptional team supporting, making weddings here very special.
Scandinavian Lodge
The Scandinavian Lodge at Amber Lakes is a luxurious cedar, oak and glass lodge overlooking the lakes and providing panaromic views of the lakes.
The lodge is serene and spacious, offering dining, bar and party space for your wedding day. Spoiling guests with uninterupted views of the nature reserve. The lodge can accommodate up to 250 wedding guests.
Amber Lakes outside space
Amber Lakes is set in 450 acre grounds, close to Slough, Reading and London. The venue has terraces, lawns and gardens which offer wedding parties ample space for summer weddings. The lake has its own captain and boat, allowing guests to explore the water.
The outside space can be used for games, tipi’s, marquees and outdoor receptions, with permission for temporary structures the capacity can be increased to 500 people.
Amber Jetty and Amber Pier
As you walk outside on the terrace of Amber Lakes Lodge, you are linked to Amber Pier, a long and picturesque pier offering views across the lakes and grounds. It is a great location for group and couple wedding portraits.
Nearby the jetty has it’s own boat that guests can use to explore the famous fishing lakes. You can see how I used the jetty in the wedding photograph at the top of this blog.
