I had the best time shooting this Sussex wedding party for Kendra and Joshua at their family home overlooking Camber Sands. Around 100 guests gathered across two beautiful marquee’s in the gorgeous grounds of their Rye family home, with some lovely touches including ‘The Shed’ where the more mischievous guests gathered for private drinking escapades.
I first met Kendra in her role as Retail Editor and Events Director at the renowned Conde Nast Brides magazine, where she commissioned me to work on some of their bridal photography events. Kendra’s one of those people that just make you smile with her infectious outlook, and with Joshua by her side they’re both blissfully happy.
Kendra looked beautiful in her dress, while Joshua took some time out from his naval attire but looked equally as dapper. As the celebrations went on late into the Sunday evening, fuelled by love and maybe the odd glass of champagne, guests partied raucously. I was frantically snapping, not knowing which way to turn for break-dancing, piggy-backs, an impromptu tribute band and who knows what in the Shed. One of the best wedding parties I’ve attended.
