Meet Damion

Documentary Wedding Photographer
Hello, I’m Damion.  I live in South West London, near Wimbledon, with my wife Philippa and loyal canine pal, Huxley.  We’ve lived around the South West London area for over 20 years, enjoying the parks and commons that make this part of London so beautiful.

I believe photography is about the emotion images evoke, be that laughter, tears or nostalgia.  Capturing these moments for wedding couples is a privilege and I have a profound sense of responsibility documenting the essence and details for you to hold onto.  In return, the joy of delivering a collection of memories that will be treasured for a lifetime is a gift in itself.

It’s important for me to get to know my couples, understand their journey and how they met, what’s important to them and why they’re getting married.  You spend a lot of time with your photographer on your wedding day so it’s vital you get along and feel comfortable in each others company.  My easy-going nature helps people relax around me, and in turn means I get a more natural and real imagery.

I pride myself on delivering above and beyond, not only delivering photography that moves and delights people, but doing it in such a way that makes the process simple, giving you confidence and peace of mind at every stage.

To keep myself sharp, I invest in my career, regularly attending workshops, conferences and educational courses with the best talent across the industry.  It broadens my mind, improves my technique and allows me to be a better photographer.

I’m part owner in The Trained Eye, a portrait and wedding photography training company, designed to accelerate photographers careers by providing exceptional creative photographic training.  Working with The Trained Eye team and alongside some of the UK’s best photographers inspires and motivates me.

I’m lucky to have been featured in Conde Nast Brides magazine after shooting some fabulous wedding events, including shoots for wonderful wedding designers like Caroline Castigliano, Kate Halfpenny and Amanda Wakeley.

Far more important is what my couples say about how I’ve captured their wedding day and you can read some testimonials here.  If you like what you’ve seen and read then I would be delighted to chat through your day and what you have in mind.

Get in touch, I would love to hear more about your day.

If you’d like to chat more about your wedding photography, without commitment, I’d be happy to talk. You can either drop me an email or call me on 07918086419.

Alternatively you can complete your details on this form and I will get back to you shortly.
