AMY & SAM
KINGS CHAPEL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Nestled just off Old Amersham’s beautifully quaint high street is Kings Chapel wedding venue. A real jewel of a wedding location owing to its stunning views of the Chiltern hills and complete flexibility, giving brides and grooms a blank canvas to build their perfect day.
As a Buckinghamshire wedding photographer, this is one of my favourite locations to shoot….and whats more it’s 5 minutes from my front door!

Amy and Sam’s Wedding at Kings Chapel Old Amersham:
I had such a great time at Amy and Sam’s wedding in Kings Chapel, Old Amersham. The sun shone and the smiles were beaming as they tied the knot with friends and family at this lovely Buckinghamshire location.
Bridal Preparation:
The morning was very relaxed, Amy and Sam were both calm and giddy at the thought of getting hitched. Amy was getting ready around the corner from Sam so I was able to pop my head in to see them both throughout the morning.
Sam was reeling from his best friend unexpectedly turning up at the rehearsal the night before, not expecting him to be able to make it owing to living thousands of miles away.
Amy was getting ready with her bridesmaids, surrounded by wedding paraphernalia, yet managing to never break her smile and excitement.
The Ceremony:
The ceremony was held at St Mary’s church around the corner from Kings Chapel, and was only a short stroll along Old Amersham high street to the reception. After the service, Amy, Sam and I grabbed some time by the river to capture some lovely newlywed photographs before heading back to the guests and enjoying the champagne and canapés.
The Reception & Party:
The team at Kings Chapel were excellent all day, and the room looked amazing with so many personal touches that Amy and Sam had spent hours over crafting. I always feel that when the family have all pitched in with helping craft the wedding details it heightens the importance and the emotion of the wedding breakfast.
As guests spilled out into the gorgeous garden, enjoying the setting sun, the party kicked off with some serious lifts and moves on the dance floor.
A special thank you to Dee Luci who ably assisted me on the day.
