Richmond Hill Hotel Wedding Photography:
[W]hen I arrived at the stunning Richmond Hill Hotel, David and his ushers were working feverishly on finishing the reception room, looping fairy lights around pillars and hanging hand made bunting to make the reception room extra special. Â Tat was getting ready in the hotel room upstairs, periodically looking out the window at the weather that just didn’t want to play nicely.
I met Tat and David last year when they got in contact about their wedding.  We grabbed a coffee and chatted through their plans and arranged to meet again in nearby Richmond Park for their engagement shoot.  You can see it here.  It certainly helped to get to know them before the day, hearing about how they met and their plans for the future.
The rain did not let up all morning, only breaking for 30 minutes, which was just the opportunity we needed to take some formal shots with the beautiful backdrop of the River Thames and the view of Richmond. We had just enough time to squeeze in a few newlywed shots before the rain returned and decided to finish the session in the hotel’s ballroom with it’s glitz and golden light.
