Surrey Wedding Photographer

The gorgeous county of Surrey is right on my doorstep and it’s always a pleasure to shoot at the beautiful chapels, historic country houses and estates that pepper the Surrey countryside.  From the stunning venues along the River Thames to some fabulous grounds, these spectacular venues offer this Surrey wedding photographer a striking backdrop to capture wedding photographs.

I live on the edge of Surrey and so a lot of my wedding and engagement photography is in and around the local area.  I’m in Richmond Park most weekends, either shooting or walking the dog.

It’s probably because of this that some of my favourite wedding venues are in Surrey.  Some special favourites are the Richmond Hill Hotel, Pembroke Lodge and Petersham.

Whenever I shoot at these venues I always arrange for a pre-wedding visit, as not only does each individual wedding differ in decor, layout and style, but the light changes rapidly throughout the year.  I treat each wedding as it’s own unique event, no matter how may times I’ve been to that venue.

One thing that is true to all my wedding photography is trying to capture many of the elements of the location and the venue into the story of the day.  This will include making sure I have the details the bride and groom have spent hours preparing but also capturing the essence of the location.  In Surrey this is often making the most of the glorious gardens, The River and some outstanding architecture that blend into my photography to ensure that your photographs take you back to that special day.
