Stoke Place is another of my favourite wedding venues in Buckinghamshire. The 17th century mansion offers a classical and luxurious feel to your wedding photography. As a Stoke Place wedding photographer I love the sweeping staircases, chandeliers, bay windows and stunning parkland that make this the perfect backdrop for your fairy-tale photographs.

Stoke Place is located 30 minute’s outside London and is ideal for a Bucks photographer like myself, offering flexible space to create some truly stunning wedding photography that you will cherish for years to come.
The grounds are a good place to start for both wedding portraits, formal shots and newlywed photography, with it’s serene lake and mature grounds making a beautiful canvas for your day. I like to make use of the bridal suite for getting ready photographs of the bride and her bridesmaids, with the large light filled windows offering a flattering and intimate reflection on the morning proceedings.
The mansion at Stoke Place offers some fabulous opportunities to blend the location into your wedding photography with beautiful staircases, chandeliers and plenty of stand-out features to make your photographs truly unique and memorable.

Set within 26 acres of lush parkland, Stoke Place offers a romantic and intimate setting for your day. The venue’s standout feature is its natural light—large sash windows, neutral interiors, and soft tones that work beautifully on camera. It’s an elegant canvas for any wedding style.
📝 Tip: The staircase and panelled rooms offer beautiful spots for bridal prep and morning details—ideal for capturing those calm, thoughtful moments before your ceremony.
Ceremonies and receptions can be held in the stunning Ballroom, with its high ceilings and garden views, or in the Thomas Gray Room for more intimate affairs. Whichever you choose, the flow between indoor and outdoor spaces is seamless—perfect for mingling and relaxed portraits.
📝 Tip: Golden hour light across the lake and parkland makes for some of the most timeless newlywed portraits—schedule 10 minutes just before sunset if you can.
