Hedsor House Wedding Photographer Damion Mower

As a Hedsor House wedding photographer I absolutely love shooting at Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire, it’s a photographers dream. A beautiful Italian villa style mansion, with 150 years of heritage, a magnificent ballroom, easily accessible balconies, a brides boudoir and 100 acres of parkland….that’s not to mention the stunning domed hall (my personal favourite for newly-wed shots). For a photographer that likes to blend the location into his shots, Hedsor House is rich inspiration.

Steeped in history this Buckinghamshire wedding venue is easily accessible from London and offers a quintessentially English feel to your wedding photography. I’ve photographed weddings at Hedsor House at all times of the year, and never failed to find beautiful locations to create lovely photographs, come rain or shine. The bridal boudoir makes for perfect getting ready shots with it’s large light filled windows, statement bed, magnificent bathroom with it’s stunning bath and his and hers showers. Having been recently refurbished the decor and light in here is amazing.

The grounds make for fabulous formal photographs and portraits, as guests gather on the lawn or outside the magnificent front of house. The driveway to this impressive mansion and it’s proud font aspect make for a great location to capture your portrait images.

For a more relaxed mix of portrait shots the picturesque sunken garden at the back of the house make for a lovely way to capture friends and family, especially during the summer months when guests will already be spilling into the garden, making the photographs a simple and non disruptive part of your day.

For newlywed shots the choice is limitless at Hedsor. I’ve already mentioned the impressive domed hall and mezzanine balconies, but of course the grounds provide many opportunities to take some stunning wedding photography. I often use the longer grass or the mature tree line and vistas across Bucks to create some images that you will cherish.

At night the house takes on a different look as the lighting gives it an epic feel that you’ve got to take advantage of, sneaking the bride and groom away from the party for a few night portraits.  Again, the options here are quite extensive with the balcony and dome, the pond garden, up lighters outside the front of house or even within the shadows of the old trees.
Here’s some recent work from Hedsor House.  If you’re getting married here and looking for a  wedding photographer that will capture your wedding with a natural style and elegance then I would love to hear from you.

Hedsor House Wedding Photographer Testimonial

When we first met Damion on Skype, I couldn’t believe how friendly and down to earth he was. We just felt like we knew him already, and were just so excited for him to be our photographer.

Our engagement shoot was cold and windy, but he was patient and persistent. We got some amazing shots and we’re so happy with them.

The wedding photos were stunning! He just made us look happy, captured all those important moments, and it was fun and relaxed. The fireworks and sparklers were magical shots.

A lot of his work has come after the wedding, where he has been able to deal with all my annoying requests and produced a beautiful wedding album. He puts in a lot of effort into his work and we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect Hedsor House wedding photographer! Very highly recommended.

Alternative Wedding Photography – Felix and Jack

When Felix and Jack contacted me about their garden wedding I was very excited. The garden was beautiful and would make for an intimate and unique wedding (just what I like). Mum (Julie) is an event organiser (and the family gardener) so I knew things would run to the letter and the gardens would look amazing.
