Stowe House wedding photos from a local Buckinghamshire wedding photographer
In the gallery below you can see some photographs that I’ve captured at Stowe House and how I’ve tried to blend my candid documentary style into the spectacular grounds and architecture.
As a Stowe House wedding photographer I focus on candid or documentary moments and aim to deliver you elegant, creative and most importantly authentic photos that tell the story of your day.
Award winning Documentary Wedding Photography
As an experienced photographer I’ve been blessed with some beautiful weddings to capture, lots of which have been featured in magazines and won awards. In 2021 I was ranked 43rd in the world by the International Society of Wedding Photography and have won accreditation for both my authentic and candid images as well as my elegant approach to couple portraits. I hope this gives you some peace of mind and confidence when booking me. You can read more about me and my approach here.
Your wedding day, your way.
You wedding day is about celebrating with your closest friends and family, it’s not about me or the photography, which is why I won’t be shouting at you from behind a tree, making you adopt cheesy poses or take up your entire day away from your guests. I quietly and unobtrusively go about capturing your day, delivering you images you will cherish for a lifetime. You can find out what other people think from my testimonial reviews.
If you’re thinking of booking your Stowe House wedding photography then I would love the opportunity to chat about your day, please do get in touch.
Stowe House Wedding Testimonial
Working with Damion was an absolute please from start to finish. I was very pedantic about the style of photography for our big day and came across Damion after seeing some of his amazing work at other events. Damion was originally booked to come out to our wedding in Italy.. until the pandemic hit. Damion truly made the situation as easy as possible for us and we kept in touch while we postponed twice and eventually took the decision to do something different in the Lake District. Damion worked with us to create the most amazing portfolio of images for us and really felt like one of the family on our day. Everyone loved him, especially our 10 year old Matthew who acted as his right hand man through the day. Thank you for making our experience so special, we couldn’t recommend Damion any higher as he is truly a professional and a wonderful person.

Get married at a Grade I Listed, 18th Century Mansion
Stowe House is a stunning venue and an amazing place to get married. Nestled between Oxford and Milton Keynes and only around an hour outside of London, this Grade I listed building offers vast space and amazing views.
Wedding guests can explore the grounds at Stowe House, finding the hidden follies, lakes temples and monuments within the 880 acres of National Trust gardens.
Stowe School
Stowe School has been in the grounds since 1923, with students boarding in term time. Because of this weddings are only permitted during the school holidays, meaning that there are very few Stowe weddings each year, making your celebration more unique and distinctive.
Weddings at Stowe
Stowe House is well equipped to manage intimate wedding ceremonies of 40 people, or larger ceremonies of up to 160 guests. For those looking for a bigger wedding day then the South Lawn can accommodate a marquee.
The Temple Room
The Temple Room was originally an after-dinner room in the Mansion, and has been restored with gilded ceilings, silver wall coverings and magnificent stately portraits, making it an elegant room for your evening wedding reception.
The State Dining Room
Hosting luxurious dinners for guests including Queen Victoria and Elizabeth II, the State Dining Room offers magnificent views across the South Front of the Mansion, including the Corinthian Arch and Octagon Lake. With ceilings decorated with mythical animals and an image of Venus your guests will be spoilt for things to look at.
The South Lawns
If you’re looking for a larger wedding day or an outside wedding the South Lawns offer you beautiful views and the flexibility to set up a marquee event. Overlooking the Corinthian Arch, Octagon Arch and the Portico, guests will be remembering your wedding day for years to come.
The Blue Room
The Blue Room was originally a billiard room, a manuscript room and a classroom, but makes the perfect room for your wedding drinks reception or small ceremony. The Blue Drawing Room maintains the design since the 1860’s, taking its name from the blue silk damask on the walks and along the ceiling.
The Music Room
With its fabulous views of the South Front of the Mansion, its beautiful chandelier and painted ceiling, the Music Room offers a great space for your wedding ceremony, reception or evening boogey.
The Marble Room
The jewel in the crown at Stowe is the Marble Room, offering your wedding day the wow factor. Its oval in shape and is the central room in Stowe with doorways in and out of all other rooms, so makes for a great wedding breakfast space. The floor is Massa Carrara marble, the ceiling depicts epic Roman battles and the wide doors open out onto the breathtaking view across the Octagon Lake, Corinthian Arch and onto the South Portico Terrace, where guests can relax with an after dinner drink.
