KANI AND BRIANLake Como Wedding Photography:
[A]s a Lake Como wedding photographer I’m very privileged to shoot some beautiful wedding destinations. Kani and Brian’s Italian wedding in July this year was no exception. The ceremony was held at Villa Del Balbianello, a beautiful and enchanting venue on Lake Como, accessible only by boat, boasting spectacular views and arguably one of the most stunning places to get married in Italy.
Guests were treated to a champagne reception before taking the short boat trip to Villa Del Bilbianello for the ceremony. A truly spectacular day unfolded as Kani looked stunning in her dress, while a rather dapper Brian took it all in his stride. With a lake view on your doorstep, we had to get out onto the water and take some photographs before returning to the Wedding Breakfast at Villa La Collina in true Italian style, courtesy of a classic Fiat 500.
It’s unsurprising that many a movie producer has chosen the venue as a backdrop – including Star Wars, which Kani and Brian used as a theme for their evening celebrations, with light sabres and Storm Trooper masks a plenty.

As a Lake Como wedding photographer, I’m focussed on making sure your wedding in Lake Como is perfect, capturing the celebrations from the hair rollers in the morning to the boogying at the end of the night.
Your wedding at Lake Como
Destination weddings locations like Lake Como are about more than just the marriage as most couples, friends and family combine the wedding with a vacation and often celebrate over a few days with the newlyweds, often with BBQ’s and alfresco lunches or farewell brunch.
I always arrive at Como a day early, so if you need me to capture the night before antics or the day after farewells just let me know.

You can choose to tie the knot on the hillsides, shorelines, villas, restaurants, 5 star hotels or cantinas. Giving brides and grooms choice, intimacy and a unique wedding day.

Facts and background to Lake Como
Lake Como is located in Lombardy and is the third largest lake in Italy, after Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore. It’s deep, one of the deepest lakes in Europe at 200m below sea level.
Lago di Como
Most commonly known locally as Lago di Como, or variously referred to as Lake of Como, or Como Lake. Lake Como is often called the most beautiful lake in the world, with its beautiful villages and villas, many owned by the rich and famous, including George Clooney.
Boats and Ferry
The lake and shoreline form a Y shape, with Como and Lecco at the souther ends and Colico at the northern tip. The towns of Bellagio, Menaggio and Varenna sit at the intersection of the Y, accessible by the many boat services and ferries operating on the Lake.
Lake Como joins the Adda River at the northern end, near Colico and flows through Lecco ,which means that the southern end of the Lake can often become flooded.
