Schloss Friedberg is a stunning 700 year old gothic styled castle nestled in Volders in Tirol. It’s a stunning venue and makes an epic backdrop to your wedding with unique features and history.
As a wedding photographer I’m lucky to travel to venues all across the globe to capture beautiful weddings with a relaxed, natural and elegant style.

Sabine and Alex were married in Innsbruck, in a town called Lans, near where Sabine grew up. Both Alex and Sabine are keen climbers so the mountains felt like a natural place for them to tie the knot. They are also both accomplished photographers in their own right, so I was delighted to be asked to capture their day for them.
The ceremony was held at Schloss Friedberg, a 700 year old castle in Volders, overlooking the Austrian Alps…well what you could see of them with the cloud so low on the wedding day.
This was a beautifully intimate wedding, full of life, love and laughter and a real pleasure to document.
