This was an unusually late start to the 2021 wedding season for me after the tough Covid-19 restrictions in the UK. I had been waiting a long time to use my cameras in anger and this was a belter of a day for my first Chiltern Open Air Museum wedding.
Tamsin and Joe were looking for a relaxed and intimate day with close friends and family. A chilled and rustic vibe, authentic and real. They booked me to capture the moments in my documentary style, with a splash of beautiful portraits and a little bit of quirky.

Grade II Listed Rustic Barn Wedding in Buckinghamshire
Northolt Barn is a beautifully traditional, Grade II listed, oak-framed barn at the entrance of Chiltern Open Air Museum and makes for a stunning rustic barn wedding.
Tamsin and Joe chose the barn for its picturesque location, with a small pond, wagon bench and a wild cherry tree, all of which can be decorated to create a rustic wedding that is as unique as they are. Tamsin and Joe decorated the barn with local beer bottles, milk urns and wooden casks to hold their flowers and wedding decorations.
The wedding ceremony was outside the barn, with guests invited inside for their BBQ styled wedding breakfast. Games and glitter continued into the evening, with Tamsin couriered everywhere she needed to go with her own Uber wheelbarrow, ably controlled by Joe.
