Cowdray House Wedding Photography

I was looking forward to this Cowdray Wedding from the moment I met Emerald and Antonio and they told me about their plans for the day.

Cowdray Heritage ruins are set in the stunning landscape of Cowdray Park, in the heart of the South Downs.  It’s a gorgeous location for a wedding venue creating the most magnificent back drop for the ceremony and reception.

An incredible experience and beautiful memories to cherish

Prior to their wedding, we met in Richmond Park for a pre-wedding shoot, hitting it off immediately as we laughed, joked and strolled around the park.  You can see some pre-wedding images here, and find out more about pre-wedding shoots here.

On the day of the wedding, Cowdray Heritage was transformed into an exquisite open air ceremony room filled with sunshine and smiles as Emerald walked down the aisle, looking stunning in her Mews Bridal dress.

Shortly after the ceremony, Emerald, Antonio and I slipped away for 30 minutes to capture some newlywed shots in the grounds of nearby Cowdray House.  It’s a perfect time to capture some memorable and unique images , while guests ambled from the ceremony to enjoy reception drinks by Coco, we were back in a jiffy, ensuring the happy couple didn’t miss any of the fun.

The wedding breakfast was hosted inside the most glamorous marquee I’ve seen, perfectly complementing Cowdray Heritage by offering transparent ceilings and exposed sides, revealing the beauty of the ruins to guests as they dined.  Catering was expertly managed by Jaccandra, which was no mean feat with this many guests.

As the day stretched into the evening, the party kicked off and guests wasted little time in throwing some shapes on the dance floor, it was all we could do to keep up with them and capture the end of a fabulous day and the start of a riotous evening.
