With country houses, manor halls, barns and hotels, Hertfordshire has some terrific wedding venues for you to get married in. I’ve photographed the traditional, the unusual, the romantic, the grand and the cosy, and you can find them all as a Hertfordshire wedding photographer.
Located around 30 miles from London, you’re far enough into the English countryside to breath fresh air, take in the landscape and enjoy the escape. Hertfordshire is local to me and I’m familiar with a number of the wedding venues that guarantee your wedding will be very special.

Fanhams Hall

I do love shooting at Mansions, they make for a great backdrop as tradition and ceremony make for a cosy bedfellow with romance and weddings. Fanhams Hall is no exception, it’s breathtaking Jacobean styling gives brides and grooms some fabulous wedding photography.
Whether you’re getting married inside or out, this beautiful wedding venue mixes fireplaces, with staircases, private rooms and gardens making your Fanhams Hall wedding photography picture perfect. When I shoot at these types of Mansions it’s important to ensure we capture the essence of the day and blend the features into your photographs. Hunton Park
Few venues have as impressive a driveway as Hunton Park in Hertfordshire. The winding pathway sweeps you to the front door of the Queen Anne Mansion with its glorious history and elegant style. It’s a sure fire way to impress your guests as they arrive for a truly romantic wedding setting.
For your wedding photography we’re spoilt for choice at Hunton Park. The newlywed shots can be taken in the beautiful grounds and fabulous gardens, or we could make the most of the stunning light in the Orangery. Theirs no shortage of locations to capture some memorable wedding day photographs and with just one wedding per day, we’ll have the place to ourselves. Furthermore it’s one of the few venues these days that allow confetti shots – a personal favourite of mine for the wedding photo album.
The Grove
The Grove is set in 300 acres of country estate, surrounded by stunning gardens, mature woodland and a series of water jets and weirs. Wedding photography at the Grove is stunning, so many opportunities to blend the contemporary with the traditional and create gorgeous photographs of your day.
The Grove has a number of wedding function rooms, with The Amber offering high ceilings and French Doors that let the light pour in – a photographers dream. Equally, The Potting Shed glasshouse offers style and elegance and makes for stunning wedding photography. With such beautifully landscaped gardens it would be remiss not to wander around with the bride and groom for some intimate newlywed shots.
