Alice and David picked a belter of a day for their Hedsor House Wedding with guests enjoying the beautiful gardens at the house as well as squeezing in a healthy uphill walk back from St Nicholas’s church. David is an ex-professional cricket player and so planning a wedding on the day of The Ashes was a bit of an oversight but the weather made up for it.

I met Alice at the stunning bridal suite in Hedsor House, where mum, best friends and her niece were all getting ready. David also made himself beautiful in one of the nearby rooms, meaning I could jump across and get both sides of wedding preparation.

During the reception Alice and David had arranged for a garden game of croquet and plenty of champers and while guests enjoyed we snuck off and grabbed their family portraits, whisking them back in time to enjoy the majority of their reception.

As dinner was called, friends and family were treated to a stunning table layout with a strong cricket theme – each table being named after a cricket ground and signposted with individual cricket bats.

It was lovely to spend some time with Alice and David, their beautiful friends and family and this gorgeous summer wedding.
