One Marylebone is a grand venue in the heart of London managed by One Events. The venue is perched on it’s own island with the hustle and bustle of Marylebone’s London life flowing around it. A grade I listed building and a unique London wedding venue.
With a background in events Amy and Simon dressed One Marylebone to perfection, making it an absolutely stunning wedding day to capture.

Beautiful wedding photographs of One Marylebone wedding
Amy and Simon’s wedding day was full of life and laughter with a strong sense of family at the heart of it.
I joined Amy in the morning at The Melia White House, which is situated right behind One Marylebone, as her and her bridesmaids were getting ready, sharing tales of the hen do and gifting Amy a photo album of their time together. During the morning both Amy and Simon’s mum dropped in for make-up and later in the day her brother, dad and two kids joined us for the finishing touches.
You could really tell that this was a strong family unit as we walked towards the venue singing songs and punching out a few pre-dance floor moves.
Stunning One Marylebone decor
One Marylebone looked absolutely stunning with the decoration, floral displays and expert lighting from Amy’s family event and hospitality business, although I’m not convinced that Ely, (Amy and Simon’s son) necessarily saw why all the focus was on mum and dad.
With kind permission from the venue we were able to unlock the private gardens after the ceremony and capture some fun newlywed shots with Simon digging deep and finding his inner catalogue pose, much to the amusement of Amy (for the benefit of everyone’s eyes these were deleted from the edit).
Champagne Sabrage
During the reception Simon perfectly executed the sabrage, a technique for opening a champagne bottle with a saber before pouring the champagne into a fabulous champagne glass tower. As the speeches commenced the best man rolled in a super sized screen for an image laden history of all Simon’s misdemeanours and fashion faux pas, while Simon did his best to deliver his speech with Ely stripping off behind him and stealing his thunder.
This was a beautiful day and a real pleasure to capture, enjoy.
