Nestled into the Oxfordshire, Berkshire borders, The Great House is a delightful nook on the River Thames.
A former Elizabethan coaching inn on a quiet stretch of the Thames, The Great House is a beautiful wedding venue, with glass-covered terrace opening onto a rolling lawn with deckchairs down to the water.
Plenty of places to capture beautiful portraits and beautiful light inside, making this venue one of my fave places to visit.
You are my sun, my moon, and all my stars
Rebekah and Pete’s outdoor wedding at Old Luxters Barn was an absolute belter. The sun shone and the party rocked at this beautiful Oxfordshire wedding.
The outdoor ceremony overlooked the vineyard at Hambledon, providing beautiful views and a quintessentially British feel to the wedding day.
After a fun confetti throw, family and friends were invited around to the front of the barn where a steel band were playing and the Pimms was flowing.
Just before guests made their way in for the wedding breakfast, the limbo bar came out and the steel band hosted an impromptu limbo contest – mostly won by team Bride.
An emotional set of speeches kicked off a great party before the bride and groom snuck out for some wedding day portraits. As a preferred supplier at Old Luxters Barn I know a lot of the good spots to get beautiful images for my couples.
