Winter Wedding at Great Fosters
MICHAEL AND KATYWinter Wedding at Great Fosters
Michael and Katy’s Christmas wedding at Great Fosters was a pleasure to capture and jam packed full of fun and laughter, albeit a little chilly.
The wedding was a few days after Christmas and so wrapping up warm I spent the morning with Katy and her bridesmaids in the bridal suite at Great Fosters. Katy looked stunning in her Caroline Castigliano wedding dress and was a picture of calmness as we made our way down to the ceremony in the Orangery where Michael was waiting alongside family and friends, surrounded by Christmas decorations.
Shortly after the wedding ceremony we escaped into the grounds of Great Fosters and captured 20 minutes of newlywed shots before the cold got the better of us and we needed to make our way back to the warmth of the venues open log fires. Â We were lucky with the light and managed to capture some rare winter sun.
Much to the guests delight, Katy and Michael had arranged for a singing waiter, and boy could he sing. Â For 30 minutes The Singing Waiter Masters had people on chairs, singing and dancing as he entertained everyone before the wedding breakfast began.
This was a lovely wedding to capture and great to work alongside Leanne Perrins of Blooming Lovely Films, and of course my good friend and fellow photographer on the day, Deji Johnson.

What a gorgeous Christmas wedding! Love the shot of the room waving their napkins behind the bride & groom! Great stuff.

Brilliant work Damion. I love the prep shots and the dress shot near the bath. Great use of available light.

Love the colour tones throughout your work. The image of the bride and groom under the arches is my favourite. You’ve captured the emotion and atmosphere perfectly.
Thank you Sonia
